We accept most credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.).
Reservation Questions
Can I make changes to my reservation?
This depends on the availability of the cottage rental and the cancellation policy. Please contact us in such an eventuality.
How do I cancel a reservation?
Please contact us but cancellation rules will apply.
Why is there a $250.00 deposit required?
We take a deposit in case of damage caused by you or your pet during your visit. If there is no damage, we will refund your deposit within 48 hours of your visit.
When do I have to pay for my reservation?
We take 50% of the amount at the time of reservation and the other 50% 7 days before arrival.
How do I get to the chalet?
In the days preceding your arrival, we will give you instructions on how to arrive at the chalet on your own. We will then provide you with a code giving you access to your cottage.
What are the cancellation policies?
50% to be paid at the time of reservation. Balance remaining 7 days prior to arrival.
100% are refundable, if cancellation is made at least 28 days prior to arrival.
0% refundable if cancelled less than 28 days prior to arrival.
Common Questions
What are the rules?
NUMBER OF PEOPLE ALLOWED: Day and night, inside and outside, the maximum is the one indicated on your reservation. If not respected: Possibility of expulsion and/or banning of the site/cottage without refund.
NON-SMOKER: All cottages are non-smoking. Fine of 500$. Smoke only on your deck, next to your front door or around your outdoor fireplace - no smoking elsewhere on the property. The boathouse, grounds and docks are NON-SMOKING areas.
BOATHOUSE (Pool Room): SHARED AREA. No hogging or leaving of personal items is permitted. No game consoles or karaoke systems may be plugged in. You must pick up and clean up as you go.Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to be alone in the Boathouse without an adult present. The pool table is for ages 12 and up only.
MUSIC: Small personal type speakers only are allowed on your patio or around your outdoor fireplace. For your ears only, not to entertain the entire resort. Use them in a way that does not disturb other cottages around.
VARIOUS PARTIES, EXCESSIVE NOISE, MUSIC, ETC. Noise level must be kept to a MINIMUM and music must be turned off between 10pm and 9am.
PETS: Only dogs are allowed (one per cottage)• Pets are not allowed on the furniture. A $100 cleaning fee may apply if an unreasonable amount of hair is left behind after your departure or if we see that the animal has climbed on the furniture.• Always keep your pet with you or on a leash and pick up after it.
BEACH TOWELS: Please bring your own beach towels. A white bath towel is available for each guest but it must not be used outside. A $25 fee per towel will be charged if we find out you used it outside.
BEDDING: All necessary bedding is provided. Sheets, blankets, pillows, towels are for indoor use only and must not be taken out of the cottage. A $25 fee per item will be charged if they are removed.
FIREWORKS ARE NOT ALLOWED. In case of non respect, there will be eviction without refund.
CAMPING PROHIBITED: It is forbidden to install a tent, a tent-trailer, a caravan, a recreational vehicle, a food truck, a tent, an inflatable game or any other item in these categories on the chalet grounds.
SWIMMING AND WATER SPORTS: Access to the lake is unsupervised and at your own risk. A life jacket is mandatory for water sports - No swimming or water sports after dusk. Any person caught in or on the water after dark will be asked to leave the following morning - without notice or refund. You must put away any equipment used after use.
SAUNA: Time slots are established and must be respected. No food or alcohol in the sauna.

What should I bring?
Your beach towel (our towels are white and must remain in the cottage)
Toilet paper (we provide 3 per bathroom)

Floatation jacket if you have one (we have a certain amount, but not necessarily all sizes). IF YOUR 4-LEGGED FRIEND IS STAYING WITH YOU

What should I leave at home?

What do I do if I forget an item in the cottage where I stayed?
Please contact us and we will do our best to return the item to you. However, shipping charges may apply.
Can I have guests while I am staying at The Domaine du Camp St-Joseph?
No. People who rent cottages expect to be able to benefit from the common areas and the number of people indicated on the reservation is the number of people accepted on the site.
Can I bring a tent?
No, no tents or temporary shelters are accepted on the site on behalf of the tenants.
Can you make an exception to add guests and exceed the maximum number accepted in a cottage?
No
Is firewood (logs) provided during our stay?
Yes, you may have to pick it up yourself at the denial area on the Domaine.
Are life jackets provided for water activities?
Yes, several life jackets are provided. However, for a small child it is preferable to bring one.
Do we have kayaks or canoes reserved for us?
No, all visitors have access to Canoes and Kayaks but there are many so there is no problem.
Can I bring a pet?
Yes, a maximum of one pet per cottage. However, it is your responsibility to pick up your pet's needs and make sure it gets along well with the other animals present. In addition, you will be responsible for any damage caused by your pet.
Can I bring my boat?
Yes, however you must make sure to check with us if there is space available at our dock. In addition, you must pay the boat drop-off fees for non-residents.
What do I do if there is a problem with our cottage?

What do I do with the garbage and recycling?
You must put them in the large garbage garbage cans reserved for this purpose. They are clearly visible on the site.
Is the water in the cottages potable?
Yes!
Should I bring my sheets and pillows?
Not necessary unless you can't sleep without your pillow! We provide sheets and pillows.
Can we smoke at the Domaine?
Cigarettes, E-cigarettes and marijuana are accepted ONLY on the balcony of your cottage and around YOUR outdoor fireplace.
